Make sure you ask him how it does on tubes.

The Nomad line was plagued by the fact that the speaker in the combo's is very close to the power section. The vibration from the speaker would actually shorten the length of tube life drastically, and without warning. That's what gave it a bunch of "knocks" on "reliability" in the HC amp database.

The are really good souding though. I have a Nomad 55 1x12 w/a 1x12 extension that I dig.

Thanks for the reply, you are right it sure sounds good, you may also be right about the tube "reliability" problem, as he told me he is on his second set of tubes in two years, is this normal for tube amps in general?

Check out the Bay...there is one on there for $750 buy it now. It is only a 1x12 though...
