I have read some good reviews about the Behringer V Amp Pro on Harmony Central. Its 1/4 the cost of the Line6 Pod XT Pro. People say with a good power amp the V Pro sounds ... some feel better than the XT Pro.

Hell ... $199 vs. $699.

Anyone have any comments one way or the other on the V Amp Pro?

I read all the reviews too and when out and bought one......returned it the next day it was horrible sounding. If you spend time and tweek the **** out of it you might end up with a couple of good patches, I would say the POD or Vox Tone Lab is the way to go!

I thought the same thing about POD. Took it back next day.

Then a friend of mine taught me how to set up the "cab" settings, so I bought a Line6 Flextone II HD, and then and only then was I able to get any good clean tones out of it.

But then when I cranked it up for live settings, it distorted out on me so I get fed up with that think and returned it too.

Now I am back to a Marshall DLS100 ... what was I thinking in the first place ...

There is nothing better than a sweet tube amp, I was using a Line6 Flextone II a few years ago. For live use it just couldnt handle it so I went back to Tube amps my self!
