BLE McCarty #262 Pics

Folks,

Glad to seem BAM's up. Thanks Phil...you are the man. Well here's shots of BLE #262. I think it came in about two weeks ago.

Anyway, it's a killer guitar. Most of you know I was worried about the top (even though I'm not supposed to care). Anyway she came in with a one piece killer quilt. The board and neck also have tremendous figure making it a very pretty package. I have to say thanks to Garrett Park Guitars for not letting me buy something else while waiting for this to come in:)

All in all, I was really worried about plugging it in though. I did not like my first McCarty Rosewood too much. It was really dark and somewhat thin. Anyway, this guitar is a masterpiece of tone. It's ridiculous, how tight, warm and deep the tones are. I really love it. It definately has that vintage vibe, but in a really cool way....it's not shrill, thin or mid range excessive. It's just warm enough, thick and creamy.

I would highly recommend one...

Whoops if there is a mistake, it's certainly not Jack's I'm sure. I bet it's #263. I took the numbered plate off and put it in the case...so I'll pull it out tonight and send along an update. I'm pretty sure it's 260 something.:)

Actually, it could even be #362 or #326....crap. 34 years old and the memory's going already.

It's teal black. It's really dark in person but I just love it. It has the same dark hue as whale blue or rasperry.
