Hi all Driskill owners, fans. As we all know Joe is a great guitar builder, but also just a great guy. This man works 15-16 hrs a day and all he has to show for it, is a FENDER TWIN. Yes thats the only amp he has to test his guitars. I brought him a boss distortion pedal so at least I could hear some gain on his creations. Then I thought hey, wouldn't be great if we all pitched in and bought him a more versatile amp? Just like Carlos gave PRS his mesa boogie? Anyways, if you think you are willing to chip in(1$ to ?) and help out, then please email me and we can take it from there. If anyone on the forum is offended by this post, please accept my apologies, I just didn't know where else I could propose this since alot of Driskill owners/fans are on the this forum. Also if anyone thinks that hey why don't I just buy it myself, I can accept that avenue also if I get no interest. THanks everyone!!!

Count me in, Doc. Maybe someone has an old Silvertone amp out there that they could donate and we could pay the shipping! No? Well, maybe we could find something more contemporary.

How about a Matchless! A boutique amp for a boutique builder. :dude: And I know just where to find one.;)

Thanks guys, good response so far. Keep them coming. Matchless huh, so far I have enough donations to buy a couple of new tubes for it, so keep it coming. Once we get enough, all donors will vote on what we get. Majority wins. But we first need to get enough $$$$$$$.

i vote we get him a fuchs. I like the fact that both builders regularly visit the forum and never bash any other company out there.

Doesn't Joe still have that Peavey Backstage? What's wrong with that...

Aaaaah... now if only I was closer. This is an old Marshall valve head, a JMP Super Bass 100W from the 70's and man it sounds SWEET!! I don't gig it any more (it retired a couple of years ago), I got a bluesbreaker combo to replace it. It I were over in the U.S. I'd happily drop it off with Joe, this is such a beautiful guitar amp, despite being designed for bass.

Count me in for a few bucks though.... what's the best way from afar? Paypal??

Hi, thanks for the offer. After getting about 6-8 offers of donations, I'm deciding to go on it alone. Thanks anyways.
