Interesting request

The longer that I play guitars the more that I'm curious into how they are built, and the craftmanship that goes into them. I've read several books on the matter, was curious if anyone here familiar with the Denver Metro area know on any luthiers in the vicinity who would be looking for some volunteer labor in return for some insight into their craft?

There's a guy named Greg German, making archtop jazz guitars in the Thornton/Northglenn area. He works at Old Town Pickin' Parlor in Arvada. From what I 've seen, he's the real deal, although I'm not sure that he's looking for any help. He may be able to steer you in the right direction, however.

BTW, I live in Arvada too...
