New Joe CD April 13

Not sure if its been posted already, but looks like a new Satriani CD on April 13 - something about Is there Love in Space.

He's on the cover of the most current Guitar Player - nice article inside.

I have almost every JS and Vai CD, and love them all...but why is the themes always centered around love, aliens, space...and beautiful gardens:confused:

JS really had something new and good started when he did "Joe Satriani"(1995). Producer Glyn Johns pushed him in new directions. I always thought, "Wow, this is his breakthrough CD", but in the video that showed the making of it he butted heads with Johns and didn't like what they where doing. Obviously, JS reverted back to the same compositional style on preceding recordings...after that I really lost interest in his music.

I was never a huge satch fan until his last album, strange beautiful music. When I first got that album, I listened to it non stop for a couple of months. I can't wait for the new one.

I'm really waiting for a new Vai CD...enough of the box sets and DVD stuff...just get back to putting out a normal release already...:mad:
