"Taxonomist" - yeah, go look it up. Basically I create/maintain/repair customized content categories that pull articles from several thousand worldwide electronic news feeds by teaching English to a piece of A.I. Day in, day out. That's my job.

Evenings I teach history at No. Virginia Community College - freshman level surveys in US History & Western Civilizations (basically European History with a little Egypt-Persia-Greece thrown in at the beginning). Last night we covered the rise & fall of Charlemagne and the emergence of Islam; Tuesday's class was on the Great Depression and pre-war FDR. That's my career choice...now if I could just find a full-time position :D

I wouldn't mind having Elgreco's job. One of my best buds is a stay-home pops and he loves it.

My day job is composing original music for television commercials, and I produce records when the mood strikes. I also make a lot of telephone calls to my clients, doing what I call, "Begging for projects."

It's also my night job. Come to think of it, it's my weekend job. In fact, I haven't been outside in several days.

Not going outside leads one to become depressed after a while.

I would hang myself, but then everyone would say, "See, I told you not to leave your law practice and become a composer. It's made you go mad."

Of course, then I'd be dead, so I'd have the last laugh.

Please God; do not let them slam me!

I've been selling guitars with Guitar Center North Dallas since shortly after I got my B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of North Texas.

I KNOW! I KNOW! Guitar Center is supposedly the "devil" in the big-box musical retailing industry. However, I believe myself to be one of the "good guys" that does know more than the average "monkey" with absolutely no sales experience and no paper to back up it up either. Having said that, I apologize to any of the above said. ;)

I conclude this message by inviting you to come see me if you would like excellent customer service and product knowledge from a Guitar Center salesperson (myself). I work all week except for Wednesdays and certain Thursdays.

Sincerely,

I'm an broadcast engineer (big time geek) I work in the broadcast facuility of the Staples Center in Los Angeles if you've watched a Kings, Lakers, or Clippers game on FOX Sports West or West2 I likely was involved in getting the game on air. The good side of the job is that sports entertainment is a very insulated sector of the economy, very unlikly to get laid off, the bad side is it's sports which I really just don't understand. Also run my own independent service company. I work on recording consoles and tape machines in several major studios in Los Angeles. One of my specialities is the DASH (Digital Audio Stationary Head) multi-track tape machine hence Dash_Doc.
