Anyone know if 5 0050 is featured in any of the books? It's VY with Birds. Thanks for your help!

No reason it can't be featured here, though. :)

No Ray -- frankly it's just not nice enough to make it into print. ;)

(Of course, I personally love it to death :)

I printed a picture of it and gently inserted the picture into my copy of The PRS Book.

Are you kidding me? Why would they include that? It would appear there were 49 others before it!! And it has those funny wrinkles on it's top.
???

Whoa! That is a very very pretty guitar, my guess would be that the top isn't figured all around so it doesn't look picture perfect. I think it's a much nicer looking guitar then most of em I've seen anyway but that's just how it is I suppose

It's funny... You may be exactly right. This top is awesome and very unique. I call it a "ghost top" ... it has a very glassy look, almost like a marble. There's plenty of crazy cool figuring, it just comes and goes at different directions. I should try a couple of flash units for a more even light... see if that works.

Personally, I dig the fact that it isn't one of the "usual perfect" tops. It definitely has more character.

I'll contact Dave and see what we can set up.

Thanks everyone (except Steve... ha!)

It would certainly be good to see a change of pics in the next book.
As a side note the magazine that Dave writes/edits for is currently writing their 25th PRS Anni issue...if you are quick they could include a pic in that too! I believe Guitarist is available in the US.

But you had better get a time machine. I bought that issue 2 weeks ago.

I wrote Dave an email last night. Let's see what comes of it!
