I'm sure you guys have seen the new drop top Corvette. I just got my new Road & TrackTM yesterday and they have some pics of it in there. I have to live my Corvette dreams through you guys since I can't justify one yet (nor truly afford a new one yet either). VetteLover, I know that you said you had your hard top on order already. Pics PLEASE when you get it, OK?

ill say it right now. if the new z06 replacement has close to 500hp and i have a full time job and it costs under 60 loaded. i will own it.

Sorry - saw this thread rather late.

I am on the pre-order list for a C6 with Les Stanford Chevrolet in Michigan. The order books are not yet open though - and probably won't be until May. I have until then to decide on the actual specs. The first cars will come off the production line in August I believe, so I hope that mine will be in the first couple of months after that.

Right now I am still leaning towards another coupe, probably in the new Precision Red color with the cool navigation system (I have zero sense of direction, so GPS and I are old friends). I may yet go topless however, depending on the final prices. The new power top will add about $2K to the base price I'm told. This is the Precision Red Coupe:
