Why my back hurts, shoveled the driveway in three different phases, twice yesterday and once today.

Last night, near Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. First rip of the season with my daughters snowmobile. She really does handle it very well, considering she's 3 years old. It surprises me that it has enough power to pull all these turkeys around on a toboggan behind it.

Here's what 24 inches of snow looks like. Lucky I had my high tech shovel to take care of my 1/4 mile driveway.

We only got about an inch and a half. But this thread confirms it, I dislike snow no matter where it is... :)

Jason,
How do they work on gravel drives?

Jason,
How do they work on gravel drives?
Believe it or not, I used to use mine on a gravel drive. I just didn't let it all the way down on the gravel. I left a thin layer of snow on top of it. It worked great. MUCH better than shoveling. I have two herniated disks in my lower back so the snow blower was a God send to me. After I used it a couple of times, I couldn't believe I waited so long to get one.
I think some of the bigger ones have guides or glides on the bottom edges of the intake on the front that you can adjust so it won't scrape down into the gravel.

My road is like an ice rink here in Gloucestershire, Uk but when looking at some of those pics makes it seem stupid that our country comes to a standstill when we get a little bit of snow.
