Knowing that there has been increased concern about owning firearms, and protecting one's personal property, family and self, this post is for the rest of us who want to live peaceable lives and learn to be upbuilding to others.
As one forumite suggested, consider the constructive things, not the destructive. Dino has been busy at work, building his home for himself and his young daughter.
As Peter, Paul and Mary once sang, "If I had a hammer..."
While I acknowledge your right to carry a concealed weapon, I also know that it is wrong to take a life in the heat of battle. This may go against what you have been taught, but in reality, we were all taught to love one another, despite our faults and imperfections.
If everybody applied this principle instead of fighting, wounding and killing one another, there wouldn't be any war. Granted, people of the world don't have the same reasoning, and as a result, have different beliefs.
We would still have peaceable family life based on love. Vengeance is best left to the One who made us. Food would still feed the many people who are hungering for nourishment. The world might be a better place to live in if we all applied the knowledge we were provided with early in history.
Wisdom. Love. Peace. Justice. Strength through personal study and applying knowledge.
