Life changes... I now have a 4 day old daughter. :)

I wanted to share with you guys... it's been a little while since I've been on and I've been quite distracted over the past few months.

Jillien Grace was born on November 17th. Weighed in at 7lbs 13oz 20 inches long. Healthy and happy. Mom is doing well too...

Here is her first pic, I said, "Jillien I'm going to take your picture" so she posed? lol

I can't help but do this at home several times a day... she's just amazing,
I never thought I could care so much.

Congratulations. It does change everything, doesn't it? Take lots of pictures and video. People may say, "Geez dude, put the camera down for a minute" but trust me, you'll wish you had more later. My three girls are 8-13 now and while they're far from grown, we miss the "babies". The scrapbooks and videos get viewed far more than I ever thought they would from the first bloody c-section birth to the first cotillion dance. Treasure each moment, it's a wonderful ride!

Oh Mate,

What a cutie. My daughter is 10 now (going on 17!) but I can remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. And most of the time I have a memory like a goldfish! Everytime I see a photo like this it all comes rushing back. The dash to the hospital, the gas and air, the pain of my wife and my feeling of being utterly useless because I could not do anything to stop her pain, and then all of a sudden one last push and there she was! I think that was a week ago, well thats what is seems like. 10 years, blimey!

Its a real roller coaster you have just stepped on and it will take your breath away sometimes, if I had one bit of advice it would be, remember to count to 10 and take a deep breath before you answer you kids.
