They brought it out late Sat. afternoon. Right next to the beercart inside the tent. It was awesome!

I spent most of Saturday afternoon at the back of the tent, by the tiki beer cart. I never ventured over there...

Met him at the 2007 NAMM at PRS booth then caught his show that night . Neal Schon was standing beside me taking it all in . About Johnny's vision . I would suspect he's diabetic, just a guess . An amazing talent and warm individual Johhnny is .

When I met him a few years ago, I knew very little about him and never really heard him play...

Well, his playing speaks for itself....

An amazing talent and warm individual Johhnny is .Don't know if he's blind, but his vision problems are caused by a condition called nystagmus (unintentional/involuntary jittery movement of the eyes).

For the record, Johnny is legally blind. He can see, just not very well. But his fretboard sight is remarkable, no?
