NGD TMCM DC 245 Soapie in the house.

I snagged a really Sweet Ted McCarty DC 245 with soapbars at the event this AM.

It's McCarty Tobacco Burst with a nice tight flamed 10 Top, Bound Fretboard, veneered Santana style headstock, and a really nice 1 piece back.

It was hiding in the corner but I found it and dragged it over to WMC's booth nad sealed the deal. I got a chance to noodle around on it for a bit this afternoon, tomorrow it will get a better work out at the Thorn event.

OK she got quite the workout at the Thorn gathering today.

She was played thru

A Budda with a 4 speaker cab 2 10's and 2 12's, A PRS Dallas thru the same cab, a PRS 30 thru a 4x10 Marshall cab and a Black Fender super reverb.

It's a great guitar with classic P90 tones and tons of bite when you dig in. These pickups are stunningly quiet for P90's, how did they do that?

The neck with binding seems somehow better and easier to play.

They short scale and Grissom size frets are great.

This one is very light I'd be shocked if it was over 7 lbs.

I'm stoked thanks to Brian at WMC for helping make it happen.
