I Got Engaged...

I was wondering why my girlfriend didn't want to go see Robyn Ford last night and talked me into going out to dinner with a bunch of our friends at a local Irish pub instead. After dinner we strolled into the bar area where a cool Irish folk band was playing. The singer then goes into the whole history of Sadie Hawkins and how back in the 5th Century, St. Patrick declared that every 4 years during a leap year a woman could propose to a man. After that he asked if any of the "lassies" would like to continue that tradition...my girlfriend yelled out, "I WOULD!!!" (My heart literally jumped out of my chest!!!) She proposed to me right on the spot in front of about 150 people!!! If that weren't wild enough, it turns out that EVERY single person in the place was in on it (including the band) EXCEPT for me. (I didn't have a clue.) Well, of course I accepted as Brenna is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Forgive me if this doesn't make much sense...I'm still a little shaken up over the night's events...
