Also... what are you guys doing booking your local shows when I'm on vacation
at Deep Creek (Oct 11th-19th).. Crossroads too...that's 5 minutes from my
house! Oh... the agony...I'm having "Frankie and the Actions" withdrawls.
Looks like I may have to head down to Apehangers with a carload of chicks!:D

Hope the show went okay -- we've only played fishead once - the room was ok, but probly the smallest crowd we've played for in years. Thank god Carl W & Randy O came out that night and kept me company!

You're right, Frankie, the crowd was about 60 people at it's max., but
virtually every one of them closed the place down with us!
And, every single person who was there for the first song, was also
there at the last! Damn, if I had only had a camera with me! There was
a non stop bevy of honeys on the dance floor, and thundeous applause
after every song. We were swarmed during each break with well wishers
and the "You guys rock" type comments and free drinks. There were numerous
Frankie type shennanigans on the table tops and bar! They topped it off with
the cigarette lighter enhanced calls for encores. We obliged 3 times until the bar
told us we had to stop! That's the last time that I'll leave the camera at home.
Right now I feel like I am the luckiest man on the planet! After 20 years (on and off)
_ of gigging in bar bands, I'm still diggin' the f*#k out of this! There is nothing
like performing...NOTHING!! What and ego trip!! WHEW !!

Glad to hear you had a great time Dana. I would have loved to have been there but alas, we were some 3,000 feet up in the West Virginia mountains at a star party.

Thanks guys!

I'm feeling really good right now about where the cover band is going.
Our shredder guitar player is even taking volume and dynamics into consideration!
It's been a good weekend! I'm ready to take on the world, and
I'm lovin' it! When's the jam?? How did you sneak another gig by me Jo?
If you don't give us some advance notice on your next gig, you will be
thwapped. (by a professional thwapper, whoever that may be!!)

If you don't give us some advance notice on your next gig, you will be
thwapped. (by a professional thwapper, whoever that may be!!)Well put Sunday 2nd October in the afternoon on your calendar then. We have another one... not too sure on the details, but we're supposed to play 2 hrs and are the last group to go on. Sometime after a bluegrass band, a high school band, karaoke and then us.

Aldwyn, I guess we're going to have to look at the last w/e of Oct for the jam then? If Goober is away until the 20th. Either the w/e of the 23rd or the following 30th/31st.

EEEK!! I've got to go to So. Md. on the 2nd for family obligations. I'll be back here by about 6 pm. What time and where is the gig?? Perhaps I can make it to your end of the show.

As far as the jam...any of those dates is good for me! Can't wait!!
