I have been a lurker here for a long time (so, hello from Florida) and have had a love hate relationship with PRS guitars over the last several years. So, first a little background :).
Back in the early 90s I pinched my pennies and bought a late 80s CU24 cherry burst 10 top with birds. I really loved that guitar. I purchased it used from Jay Wolfe of Wolfe Guitars back when he didn't have a store front. A short time after that I bought a black CE also from Jay. Some time in the mid 90s I ended up selling both guitars for one reason or another (life happens) and I migrated away from PRS guitars and played a CS Strat. Fast forward a few years..
Over the last couple years I have dipped my toes into PRS guitar land owning a CU22 and a CU24 artist and the honeymoon period with those two guitars was pretty short.. It just wasn't what I remembered.. (probably just nostalgia knowing I can't go back and capture the younger years  ). Fast forward a couple more years and behold the Mira enters my life.

After much "hype" reading I decided to take a chance on a Mira. Holy Cow ! This guitar does it!. I typed "hype" in quotes because I don't think it's hype. The guitar exceeded my expectations. It's true that I hard time finding a bad sound on the guitar. Vol/Tone/Split Coil.. Ect.. It just works. I am muy happy with the Mira. I like to play with volume and tone knobs when I play and the Mira is a good match for that. It's simple configuration can cover a wide range of tones. I read others who thought the Mira was bright. I think playing with the tone knob is the trick. I keep it between 8 and 5 and adjust to taste. This white banshee is built for rock. I love the feel of the standard neck and the 24 fret config. Simply put, it makes me happy.
So, I figured I would post another Mira love thread and if you haven't checked out a Mira.. Give the Mira a Mira!.. hehe
Thanks for letting me share, MF
