Thorn mockup

I can't decide what finish I want to get on my Thorn. So I decided to take another person's guitar and do a little modding and painting on it to see if I could come up with a finish I would like.

Here is what I came up with. And yes, its a lefty HB. {insert evil laugh}

Donk - I took pics of this Thorn and brought them into Photoshop to see if I could come up with something I liked:

I used all sorts of airbrushes to achieve the darker burst - I felt like I was in the spraybooth!

Jo - that's actually a BRW pulled off of another Thorn HB - mine will be IRW -if not mahogany. Also thinking about either:

an ALL mahogany yet hollow guitar, or
Spruce topped, and the rest mahogany.

Tough call!

Just the sheer fact I've been wanting a HB guitar for so long, and now I actually get to have one has got me turning flips!
