Do you think this is a Scam?

I have an Ibanez BTB Bass on ebay. I received this email today;


Dear seller
We have a new store in Asia, and we want to fill up our store with your items, and we will offer it:US$ 900.
And we will pay the shipping and handling cost.
Please mail me back, then send your afx number , then we willfax the credit card by fax to yu as the payment.

What I would like to know is, how do they get you? I have seen lots of talk on the forum about it, and I think it has saved me a couple of times.

Seems likely it's a scam. Credit card number is probably stolen.

Lol, yep it's a scam :)

And you can check that by telling him you don't accept credit card, only wire transfer, you'll see that he won't answer you :)
