Hi guys,
I've just posted this on Big Al's thread, thought it looked cool with it's Stevie Ray vibe.

I don't like that one BGG, but I am interested in one.

That's coz you've been brainwashed by all the flame maple tops you've had and mirror like finishes :D

Oh yeah! Refinish, replace the pickguard, pots, switches, p-ups, put it a new trem, get new tuners, sand the neck and apply clearcoat, and then very carefully on the headstock, inscribe a serial number starting with the letter "Z"!!!

Or enjoy a the love of a fine guitar who's seen more in life than you have. :D

Doesn't look like it's on their site anymore. Based on the transitional logo and the fretboard dots(they look like pearl to me), I'd say '65. Also based on Dave's website now, which has a different '65, I would guess somewhere between 6K-$8.

FWIW, I'm in the camp that LOVES these beat to hades and back guitars. Thanks for posting it B.G.G. !

I ain't checked Dave's site this evening but it was the first strat on the list.
I think it was a 62 ? but I'm not sure, and it was around $5400 I think :D

i betchya that is the most amazing sounding guitar! as far as old strats are concerned, i'd pick a beat up old one any day...i think they sound the best!

this was a 65 I checked the site when it was on there. The transition logo didnt appear untill 64 and there are many 64s with spaghetti logos as well.
