Damn Al, that sounded good.
Do tell what you did to the axe to get the tone. Was the coil split? Bridge or lead p'up? Also, amp settings too.
Big Al
02-22-2004, 02:20 PM
cheers donk...
it was just a clean tone with a teeny weeny bit gain for the intro... and the pod amp setting was 'Black Panel' with drive up to 11 ;).
the intro was played in middle position (both humbucker active)... and the rest was played using the bridge pickup.
a little tennents lager was added to complete the recipe :D

Nice one Big Al.
Have you got anymore.
How do you get clips up? 'cos I've got a shed load of live stuff we did last year.

Nice playin' Al! Great tone and well played. Very good recording that - a Pod? Tried one through an amp, but wan't impressed. Straight from the pod to the recorder? (PC or workstation?)
Great that you are able to technically get it all on a link and more importantly air it to a world of guitarists - I always think it makes it harder playing to guitarists - but at least they're listening.
Imagine doing a pick - up change Hendrix style with the 5 way rotary .... click, click, click, click etc.
SPOT ON SON ... encore?

what format have you got them saved in... or are they on cd? you can convert them to mp3 format in applications like iTunes. Then u have to upload them to a website. (i'd host them for you...but i'm already up to my 30mb limit of space).

the pod needs serious tweeking to get tones i like (IMO). my recording was just pod straight into my iMac. recorded using cubase.
i'll post more when i've got em. :)
