Sounds a lot like Paul Smith's tone. What does he use, a koch multitone and a Cu 22?

It's a wonderful tone that's for sure. A cynical guess would be a Les paul or something cheap, but I'm going to plump for a c22 stop tail through a Marshall bluesbreaker combo. That's presuming it's not a sound modeling amp or effect.

Beautiful clip - I'm a fan of the JB original, too. Sounds like a Dragon II treble through a very light drive, maybe V30 speakers? Dunno :)
