We need harem shots of PRSs and other assorted goodies of guitardom. :D Besides, without the forum for a week, I actually played ALL my guitars and ALL my amps ALL the same day a week ago Sunday. Seemed like a perfect time for an updated harem shot. Only thing left out was my pointy headstock 80s guitar, a couple of acoustics and the Sovtec 4x10 cab.
It was a good day.
To whom it may concern, the number one thing I learned from this day of noise is that Dr. Z makes the best amps in the history of the universe. They have a quality that I simply call 'honest'. No other amp brand I've come accross is so responsive to guitar personalities and pup/tone/volume settings.
But, I digress.

I have too large of a flock to get them all in a harem photo, but this past weekend we had a bunch of my six string strays in the jam room...A few PRSi, a MusicMan, a couple of Fenders, a Heritage, a Gibson acoustic, and others... all bonding in a melting pot of my GAS!!!
And, still so many others still in their cases, under beds and hidden in closets!!
Man, I need therapy. I try not to think about how many guitars I own ..or I may have to commit myself to the nearest asylum!!! http://smilies.jeeptalk.org/otn/funny/xyxnervous.gif

As for the tele comment, that's my soft spot. I do need a tele. A couple of the amps need to go. Should easily finance a tele. On second thought, I have a strat plus on consignment at a local shop I forgot about. Maybe that'll trade for a tele.
This pic needs a bit of updating as I've got the SC instead of the CU now.

I sat down tonight and looked around at the small herd in my vacinity. Using some raw meat and bait I was able to coax them into an informal group shot. This is a random part of my motley crew. My larger PRS group is in the link below my signature. ....I know, my GAS is out of control.......

Watch out that the Rivera doesn't slip off and hit the floor. The very reason I went with a vertical 2X12... (no, my amp never fell off because I never had the balls to set it up like you. I just hated having to haul around a chair to set the head on)

Yup, I actually just got that stand, I haven't used it like that, I'll prolly only use it for combos only. Normally, I just sit the head on top of the recto 2x12.

But isn't that too low to hear yourself clearly?
But isn't that too low to hear yourself clearly?
Depends on where I'm standing. We did a casino gig two weeks ago, and my amp was about 10-15 feet behind me, and it's on wheels, so I walked 5 feet further away from it, and didn't notice any significant tone change. The stand is for when we play small rooms and the amp is right at my ass.

That's way too many Les Pauls... in fact, it's illegal in some states to own this many. Maybe you should trade one of those for... oh, I don't know... a Custom 24?
