I don't know if it's because we are used to seeing pretty amazing tops, but sometimes I forget that we are looking at wood. It is so unbelievable to me that the top of that guitar is something naturally occuring.

The color looks AWESOME! Congrats! I just got my Vintage Double Cut a few weeks ago after an 8 month wait, and it gets ALL the playtime! I hear the retile does a cool "flip flop" thing under lights. Dave Mansel does some amazing finishing/paint work!

I ordered this one about 7-8 months ago, I wanted to get the new color because of that flip flop effect. I can't wait to see her when she is done. I have a feeling she will be getting ALOT of play time.
