How do you post links in your sig so that a name shows up instead of the url?I can't see it in the new editor.
Thanks!

Yea, that got me too. I tried UBB code and HTML... nothing worked. Hence, for now anyway, no links in my sig.

I simply Copied/Pasted my signature from TGP, and it worked fine.
Not sure about this, but this may also be a way: Highlight the text you want to make into a link, then click the button in the signature editor that says "Insert Link" (Looks like a globe with a small chain link under it), and type in the URL and hit Ok, and it should turn it into a link for you...

I just cut and pasted what I had on TGP. Works for me...

yeah, i copied and pasted, too. if you want to type it in manually, the code should be like this WITHOUT the "*":
[*url=http://www.yoursite.com/]link name[/url]

Also, here's a link to a quick reference guide to the BB Code used here:

While we are asking questions: What about quoting...the new format does not have a quote button...??

It does... (this one got me too) but I just found it as I replied to this thread.
You need to click on the "reply" button of the post you want to quote.
