View Full Version : A Perfect Circle
Hey, I just picked up a bunch of tickets to see A Perfect Circle here in Rocheter in April. Manynard James Keenan's vocals are just so powerful...that guy takes me on a journey every time he opens his mouth to sing. Their choice of lyrics are intellectual (if not avante guarde) and seem rather refreshing in today's festering pile if mediocrity. The music is so heavy and powerful, yet tasteful with their use of space combined with crushing riffs.
Has anyone seen this tour?? Will I be dissappointed? Too bad Paz Lenchantin isn't playing bass for them...she was hot!! (Meooowww kitty!!)

I wish I could see them. I think their two albums are killer, really moving and a lot of feel. I wish they would come here to play instead of Blink182.

Don, that is VERY cool!! You will see them before they get here...would you mind posting a review of the show afterwards?
I would really appreciate it...as PRSkiller said, they are just so moving and play with so much feel.
Thanks,
Erik

Expect to see an awesome show. Maynard James Keenan is a true performer and he puts a lot of emotion into his live performance.
I've got tickets to see them in April here in Indianapolis, and I'm very excited. Mer De Noms blew my friggin mind when it was released - I'd never heard production that good, or heard a band construct such fresh and intoxicating vibe. The newest record has failed to dissapoint me.
I've never seen them live before, though I saw Tool a few years ago. It's interesting how totally different two bands with the same singer can sound.
