I have a chambered spruce/ash Tele that currently has a SD Jerry Donahue bridge, Alnico Pro 2 neck, 4 way switch, 250k pots and .022 cap. I've split the ground from the neck pup cover and the switch works fine. But I want a bigger neck sound so I have bought a SD Vintage minibucker. This has only 1 conductor plus the shielded ground. The cover is part of the ground. I can figure out how to wire it but will I have to separate the ground from the cover and run a separate wire to ground? Also, is my 250K/.022 pot/cap combo the best way to go? Thanks
