Pawn shop prize...

I used to think that the days of finding a deal in a pawn shop were over....until today that is...I found this near-mint condition Roland CE-1 Chorus Ensemble at a local pawn shop for $40.00!

I love these nearly 30 year-old analog chorus units....I WILL be checking the pawn shops a little more often I think...

I'm always checking out porn, ooops I mean pawn shops for something interesting but it's always junk, cheapo namless strats and basees, and anything that's halfway decent is always way overpriced. Seems that these shops get their pricing from eBay.

The best deal I did get was to get a Pod II a couple years ago for $150 still boxed (although the box was beaten up). Just sold the unit on eBay about a month ago for $192. Not bad for a couple years use :D
