Hi,
I own a PS that has an ebony board with no birds or moons, just a gold-outlined eagle between the 10th and 13th frets. The inlay was placed so that the overlying frets contact the inlay.
When the guitar was purchased, my guitar rep hedged his bets by saying it would be a tricky job of extricating the frets so as not to damage the surrounding inlay.
I know John Ingram is the best luthier around that could accomplish this, knowing that his consultant work and technical repair ability is genuinely competent and unquestionable. It's on my to-do list in the future, and if anyone has full contact info for John, it would be greatly appreciated if it could be provided.
Thanks in advance...
