Piezo -- Does the Battery Drain . . .

Does the battery on the piezo drain if the guitar isn't being used but the switch is turned so that piezo would be on if played?

Also, does anyone have any idea how long the battery on the piezo typically lasts?

The battery is turned on only when the guitar is plugged in. You should get about 2-300 hours of playing time with an alkaline battery.

So if I leave a piezo equipped Archtop plugged in when I'm not playing it, the battery is in use?Yes. It's on any time the guitar is plugged in.
