...should the PRS trem stay in tune? All I have to do is look at it and it's totally off! Seriously, is this a usable design? How does anyone that's out gigging these things get them to work? I've done the luthier route, I've changed string gauges, I've bought a Treml-No and NOTHING works!!!

My last PRS is getting ready to hit eBay soon. I can't record with it, play out, or even just enjoy the guitar once the kids are bed.

Just looking for help.

Dude. Buy some big bends nut sauce. Savior. Trust me.

Mine work flawlessly.

What Mike said. Seriously, I find the nut work is usually the suspect. Getting the nut slots reshaped or using the Nut Sauce will cure what ails ya.'

My '89 Cu 24 and 20th Anniv SCT work flawlessly with no lube. Over the years i had a few where the trem didn't return to pitch but most worked great. Sorry you are having problems.

3 of my 7 have trems never had a problem with any.
I had a couple of strats that went out when I used the term I just added
additional springs. They made the trem more stiff but they stay in tune.:dude:

Also make sure your 'tech' knows how to properly deal with the PRS Knife edges.

Any I've had trouble with were set up poorly when they arrived. Followed Orkie's instructions per the PRS video, bing. No issues.

Course the ones that play the best are the ones Jack Gretz and Orkie set up respectively.
