Hey guys.
These are getting a ton of kudos over at TGP but thought I would share over here.
Sold my Barden Tele pups and picked up both an AC and RC booster by Xotic. had the AC for a few days, and the RC came in today.
Awesome pedals. I'm mainly running My Dr Z Z28 amp ( single channel tone monster) that you crank to get a nice bluesy overdrive.
AC in front, BAM instant killer overdrive. Can get a lot of the smoothness and round rock tones that I had missed a bit since I sold my Marshall. Just a killer pedal.
The RC is more of a clean boost, with a bit of dirt at the top of the gain control. Really kicks it all up a notch. Pushes the amps natural overdrive nicely, and kicked in front of the AC gives a nice boost with a bit of cchime to cut through for the leads.
Still tweaking on the RC but these things are very natural and amp sounding, without losing the low end like most pedals.
Awesome pedals guys. Cool on line demos by Scott Henderson and Dean Parks (among others) on their website, www.prosoundcommunications.com
Loving these! Check them out!
Scott Peterson was speaking so highly I thought I'd give em a shot. Sure glad I did. Thanks Scott!
