View Full Version : Picked up an Analog Man Clone Chorus
I found a used one for a really reasonable price, and ended up adding it to my rig! Just two knobs, speed and depth but that is all I find I need to get that thick, lush chorus tone. When you turn the knobs all the way up it does a neat Leslie impersonation. I was happy with my Boss Chorus Ensemble until I checked out this unit.....Now I don't know how I ever lived with out it:D This pedal loves the clean channel on my Shiva!
It's worth checking out if you are in the market for a chorus pedal built in the style of the Old Electro Harmonix small clone pedals. I probably would never have considered purchasing it if I did not have the opportunity to check it out in the store and spend time noodling around with it as I did.

Jen,
Did you make a visit to Mike's place? I just picked up a Beano Boost there a few weeks back, which is great! Just too loud for playing at home. I'm going to trade it in to Mike for a King of Tone, when they are ready! Mike was a great help and spent some time with "one of the little people"!
Good Luck,
Joe:)

Hi Joe,
Yep, I made it over to Mikes, although I didin't buy the chorus pedal from him directly. believe it or not I bought it for 45.00 at the Daddys Junky Music near the West Farms Mall in the Hartford area, and the thing is Mint! I did have Mike do the Silver Mod on a Boss ODS1 with the push pull clipping and I picked it up at the shop! let me tell you, I'm AMAZED at how stellar he made this pedal sound. I use it on the clean channel of my Shiva when I need a pushed clean tone, and I can also use it as a clean boost for soloing.

WOW! $45 for one of Analog.man's handmade pedals is quite a deal!
Congrats, Jen!
Joe:)
I love this pedal...the Clone Chorus adds such a beautiful shimmer and depth to my cleans. Cool to fatten up distorted sounds, too.
