Okay, so Saturday night I did more tweaking, and really got my rig dialed in... the master volume knob (lead channel on my MKIV) was the key - it had been dialed down at some previous show, and that resulted in a slightly thinner sound... I cracked it open a bit, and the rig was smokin'!
Here's the bar. It's called Apehanger's, and it's the classic American Biker Bar. We call all of Maryland home, but this is our home bar. It's always packed when we play... and it has a raised ceiling and steps, so dancing (and playing) on the bar is encouraged. You gotta love that!

I played Casper most of the night, and yes, the twins were back!

Oh, there might have been a few other women there.

I pulled out the '92 Tune-O-Matic Custom for our second set. Not only did I LOVE the tone, it made life easier - we play a lot of de-tuned stuff in that set, and I could change tunings without changing guitars... very cool.

Stunning guitar, isn't it? Okay, here we are raisn' hell on the bar!

And finally, the old "bottle-neck slide" trick - always a crowd-pleaser. :)
