Shiva Fan

I love my new Shiva EL34 Reverb 1x12 Combo. But damm, what's up with the fan! Never heard anything like that on amp. Guess I am gonna have to put a gate to work when I start recording it.

If I had the combo (I have the head) it would indeed be an issue when recording.

Just a word of caution - if you do indeed do the on/off switch for the fan - turn the fan back on between takes or during rests. Bogner has the fan there for a VERY good reason. The plate voltage they run the EL34's at is wicked high and those things will fry like a mutha if you leave them go without the fan for a long enough time.
