Hey everyone. Is there a recommended website or DVD instruction guide for learning Pentatonic Scales? And, what do you think of that approach to learning for blues and rock? Thanks.

You can't go wrong with the Wolf Marshall series, covers all the basics.

good luck! Are you members of either of these? If so which one do you recommend. I like the fact that the guitar master class site is month to month with no automatic recurring charges.

Thanks!

Thanks!Greg, I'm a member of both. In fact, if you buy 1 Rockhouse DVD, you get automatic membership to their support site, with scale patterns, metronomes etc available for download.

re the Guitar Masterclass site, yes I think it's good value that you can go month to month with no more commitment.

value wise, I reckon I'd go with the masterclass site.

lastly, for a wicked and varied workout routine, I highly recommend the Rockhouse "hands of steel" DVD. Excellent!

Thanks for the discussion and suggestions. Now, I just have to find time to try some of them out.
