Too cool to see a pro like Portnoy wearing his influences so proudly.


Seems like after *some* musicians reach a certain level its no longer cool to play stuff that got them there.

I know I'm nowhere near that level because I'm still jamming on ALL of my hero's stuff. Daily.

Rush has been my fav since 1978. At one point I remember thinking I would grow out of it someday, but apparently, I was wrong...:)

Yeah Dormio-I though I might grow out of it too but 48 shows later since the Hemispheres tour is keeping me in the game, I'm probably a Lifer... It would be 49 but I missed the AFTK tour by 3 weeks, lucky back then they'd roll through about once a year.
