The bidding will probably go higher but I'm now the current high bidder on this McSoapy. Bad ebay, bad, bad, bad, LOL. :D Is $1200 a good price? I really shouldn't have bid but this seemed really tempting.

If you get it for $1200, pay for it as quick as you can, drive all night to pick it up before someone realizes what a great deal you got!
Seriously, that is a good deal, I would expect the bidding to go up to around $1600 or more. Soapbar McCarty's are great!

...I would expect the bidding to go up to around $1600 or more. Really? My first McCarty was a non-ten with moons and it sold for around $1400 or so used. This one might fetch that much, but I would think $1500 would be about right.

Here, we pay about $3000 for a clean McSoap!
Snap it up!

You sass'n me boy? Well, alright, you could be right. This one does look like a 10 top, but I guess I'd better yield to the enabler.:D

Okay, everyone off e-bay for the next three days! LOL
It'll likely go higher but I don't think I would feel too guilty getting it for that price. :D Seems like it's in pretty good shape, couple dings and somebody buggered up the stoptail post slots but not bad overall. My wife will have me laying hardwood floors next week if I win, he-he. Uggh, well sometimes you gotta give to get. ;) Wish me luck!

Hope you win, but chances are it will go up before it ends.

I'd say 1400-1500 for it.

This one might fetch that much, but I would think $1500 would be about right. It's not labeled as a ten top but I really like the flame, not too overstated and reminds me of an older LP. Seems like it would be a nice player and GAS has hit pretty hard; :D .
$1500 cleans out my emergency "gear account" and I need a better sound card with 1/4" and XLR inputs. Hmmm, what to do, what to do? ;) :D

I was checking that one out on ebay, it also proves the gotoh locking tuners fit! that's awesome

It always strikes me as quite amusing when I see someone install locking tuners, and they still WRAP the strings around the post. What's the point of spending money on tuners, taking the time to install them and them still wrap the strings?
