Hello everyone. I stumbled across these forums and as a guitar player and new PRS owner I'm glad I did. I think I might be ordering the "Inside PRS" dvd shortly. :)

After 10 years of playing guitar and just as many admiring PRS guitars, I was finally fortunate enough to purchase one last month. It's a Custom 22 in Tortoise Shell with the Artist package. I went to my favorite local guitar shop to "take a look" and realized that there was no way I could leave without it. :D The amazing grain the the fretboard along with the gold hardware, wood headstock and color, make for the pefect combo in my opinion. It seems like just as much a work of art as it does a musical instrument.

It's a beautiful guitar than I'm very happy to have in my collection. I think it'll be there for many, many years to come.

I look forward to meeting some new people and learning some new things.

Some pics,

Schmexy!

Lookin' good. I think it's the best brown for a guitar.

And what badfinger said about staying around... ;)

welcome aboard and congrats on the guitar. the sad truth is that if you hang around here long, your PRS collection will curiously multiply

Welcome to BaM! :dude:

Great guitar you have there; I love TS as well. But I think you should return it - the bridge looks defective. It doesn't look like there anywhere to stick the trem arm in... ;)

The same place I bought my Cu22 also has this one. It was tempting but I'm really not into trems.

Welcome to BAM! I can definitely relate to the feeling of playng a guitar and not being able to leave without it. Here is some free advice: Should you run across one - DO NOT PLAY A MODERN EAGLE!

Now - back to what you were doing.

Welcome, fellow newbie. I just received my CU 24 recently, and I am loving life. Such tone, and such a pretty instrument. I am sensing a certain good natured friction between the tremolo and non-tremolo people here, but whatever floats your boat. I like the whang bar myself :) Enjoy. Beautiful instrument you have there.
