I was in Bill's Music today playing Teles and hollobodies... and they had a couple of these Epiphone strats on their racks!

Peace,

I'm blocked from ebay here at work, but I can almost smell that Epi. I totally agree with John Phillips. Those don't even qualify as a good deal in a pawnshop.

Of course, I'm one to talk, my first serious guitar was a Stinger, made by Martin, by way of Korea. Although I must say I've always liked it. So maybe I'll run by a pawnshop and pick up one of those Epi's :D !

Dude, your first guitar had a name on it? Lucky you!

Baba, you crack me up!!

Actually my first guitar was a Sears Explorer copy (probably made by Cort). It also had a name on it. EFFECTOR (yes indeed, in all caps to boot!).

It quickly earned it's nickname, DEFECTOR.

RAWK!!! Dude!

Actually the first halfway (well.. almost halfway) decent electric I had was a used Japanese cherry red strat copy Epiphone from the 70s. Had a regular Gibson-style headstock. And a beat chipboard case.
