Matchless DC or SC what it the diference and is there a half power switch to both

Same amp inside, the DC has 2 speakers while the SC has one.

Great amp! Love my DC30. The half power switch comes in handy - it's a loud and dynamic amp!

What are they like for home use tones at relativley low volumes

What are they like for home use tones at relativley low volumes
They are loud amps; but have master volumes. They sound best cranked up a bit though - I won't lie to you.

Hey Barrie,

The C-30 is a glorious amp, but it is a big loud expensive booger for home use.

If you have the bucks, go for it though. It is a mesmerizing amp, very deep and articulate. The half power switch doesn't do too much in most applications.
