Anyone try the online feature? Any good for an intermediate player?

Sure, it's fun. I had it the subscription for a couple of years. My only gripe is that they were really slow at adding new stuff. One or two a month isn't really enough for the $7pm(?) and seeing I didn't use mine that much I was really throwing the money away.

I'd certainly recommend doing it for a couple of months at least. There are some good tracks there.

I agree with Jo in that if you have the GuitarPort already, it's worth subscribing for a couple months and exploring a bit... I too think that it takes them too long to post new lessons, and there are far fewer complete songs than you might think there are judging by the generous listing they post (most of which are simply backing tracks, without tab/music). I'm not much for practicing in front of my computer, so I cancelled after a couple years, but there is some cool stuff up there, and it's worth looking at if you have the GuitarPort. I would not buy the GuitarPort predominantly for the online content/features however - I honestly get the impression that the whole online thing has been kind of a disappointment for them, and is only half-heartedly supported at this point...

Jimi, your experience sounds just like mine. I guess Line 6 have a good thing going, people keep their subscriptions going for 'just in case' and then eventually cancel it after a long while.

One thing I did do, was to record and convert the backing tracks to mp3 that I wanted to keep.
