Matchless amps...

I was looking 'round the Matchless site and found the amp descriptions kinda lacking. I've had some experience w/ the AC30-inspired C-30 designs, but what are the characteristics of things like the Clubman, Chieftain, etc...? Just curious... (let's keep it to current Matchless offerings for now, not Bad Cat et al)

I've owned a Clubman-still had the complex Matchless clean, more of a rock type bark pushed hard, very fussy about speakers.

Also a Chieftain reverb head-very JTM45, warm tweedy clean, Fender meets Marshall overdrive about the same level as a Plexi 50. Likes NOS tubes, likes Celestion Blues, doesn't mind being dimed (no wierd noises or farting out), not much louder than the theoretically 1/2 powered C30 series.
