Anyone else have one of these? Best Big Muff clone I've yet to try, amazingly articulate and touch sensitive - chords are clear instead of muddy and all muffled together - but yet still retains that huge muff character. Also the largest range of tone I've heard in a MUFF of any kind and the best at cleaning up w/ the guitar volume. Really wipes away my Foxey Fuzz, at least in the bedroom test...the real test will be this weekend at its first gig. I'll keep you guys posted.

Any other Muff love stories? A better clone out there perhaps? I'm almost scared to continue searching as I think I've found everything I've ever wanted in a Muff - from Gilmour and Santana, to total Sonic Youth mayhem. It seemed my Foxey Fuzz could not get past the Tony Iommi sound...really more of a one trick pony.

i've been eyeing the D*A*M Ram's Head - how's that one treating you? the only thing holding me back is the price tag, holy cow!!!

Yea, the foxey fuzz has been on my board for the last 6 months, great pedal, blows away the reissues, but it's got a HUGE amount of volume that sometimes could cause me trouble, and it seems like the gain control starts at completely over the top and just goes further. The MOAF has same high gain character, but cleans up a little better (on the sustain dial and with the volume control) so I can get into more Santana/Gilmour territory, sparkly fuzz, something I really wanted out of a MUFF. Also seems to be more touch sensitive and more controllable, wider range of tones (I'm repeating myself now). Anyways, I'm hugely surprised with it, got it second had for $85 too....definately worth a spin if you are a MUFF fan.

ONly minus is no LED, but, if you can't tell when your big muff is on....

The DAM Ram Head is excellent. they are all very good and different from each other.
The Ram Head has the most detailed tone. It's just a notch above, IMO

Soundwise? It sounds like the first Montrose album....so does the ICBM.
