Anyone planning to attend the Classic American Guitar Show in Long Island this weekend?

Of all the guitar shows I've done in the last year or so, it's by far my favorite, especially to anyone with a taste for jazz. The quality of the players, both in the Jazz Cafe and playing in the booths is simply beyond belief.

We're also planning a BBQ for CliffC's place in Smithtown on Friday if anyone wants to get together and try a few guitars. Cliff's also got just a killer amp collection and about 5 of Saul Koll's guitars as well as 6 of mine. I'm pretty sure he's also got a Huber, a Gustafson and a couple of Dave Wendler's acoustic electrics.

Too bad there isn't a good show in Minnesota, where I could finally get to meet you face to face...

Have fun. Wish I could be there!

i'm planning on attending on Sunday. Haven't been for several years, since it was back at Five Towns College, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it has evolved. It was always a great show; much less a "flea market" atmosphere than other shows.
