Hey old TGP friends.

I had the Germino Lead 55 and the proto Monterey-100.....Currently got a Mojave Peacemaker and Carvin Legacy, but missed having a Germino.

Went with the big guy. the Headroom-100 'Late 67/early 68 Superlead version 1 .

the Monterey was too deep dark for me. This headroom-100 is like the Lead 55, only 100 watts.

I am a Club 40 guy, have a Lead 55 that is going on the block to pay some bills. The Club 40 stays, even if I go hungry.

Back to the topic, I find that Germino's combining different takes on the preamp/power amp configs from different era's and types of old Marshalls is indeed completely refreshing and very inspiring. The results - in my case the Club 40 - totally reset my head on amps. It's genious far beyond the clones offered out there.

I know what I said. It's out of absolute anger about what I felt was being unfairly banned. It was ORIGINALLY over a private email. The mod who banned me is long gone.

Based on the thread i have just read from HC, I'm appalled at how much slander is posted (none of which has an basis except opinion).

Scott (and all the gear page staff) has been nothing but polite and helpful with me. They show a great deal of patience, and I'm sure (though i do not know the situation) you did something to get banned. Whether you think so or not, it was there forum and they have the right to ban whoever they want..... and just because they don't let you back in is no reason to whine and call them names (or accuse them of theft).
