You're the 3rd guy with that problem, I don't get it.
Especially since others can open it.

Ed,
That thing is awesome! Wicked tone. Amp? Delay? Details please.
I dunno what the playback issue is, but I am a Mac user, thankyouverymuch, and I used MPlayer OSX without a hitch.
You got some DivX compression goin' on there?

This would assume I'd know anything about video codecs! :)
Thanks for checking it out first off.
'twas the Tyler into a Soldano Avenger into a Hot Plate set to -16dB into a Demeter iso cab loaded with a Red Fang, miced with a Beta 57 into the computer.
Delay added in the recording program which was left delay 250 msec, right 500 msec. And that's all there was.
Eveerything else was done with the guitar.

Ed... nice chops. :dude:What is your recording media? Effects? Is that a fuzz--delay--amp combo? Pretty cool.

Just read above posts! :o

Answered everything but the recording medium...usually I record in Sequoia, Nuendo if i have to deal with lots of midi stuff.
In this case it was Vegas since I had to deal with video.

I had some trouble with it to on mac OSX Tiger.
The only thing I could open it with was the free VLC program, but that quit after a minute or so.
Still, great sounding guitar Ed!
How many Tylers is that now???

Very nice, Ed. Quite a versatile axe. The delay came out very nicely, and I think it's great that you're able to attenuate that far down and still get a good sound through the Soldano. Of course, your monster chops don't hurt!:D
BTW, what does the back of your shirt say?

Nada...front says "I'm an idiot".
Moog gave those to guys that didn't like their pedals. :) I guess that made me an idiot.
Good to see you here man.
I can't get it to play, get this message:
"The specified module could not be found." from WMP, I wonder if the folks running it have a divx or other codec loaded?

doesn't work here, either.
OSX 10.3.9 (panther)
QT 7.0.3 doesn't recognise it, and
WMP 9.0 calls it an invalid format.
oh, well!

You other guys with Macs - just use MPlayer! It's free, it handles most codecs, and it plays Ed's file. It's worth the listen.
lots of free ones, I used "stinky's mpeg codec" and it worked fine in WMP 10, it's not divx.
Great playing Ed, haven't heard you rip like that in a while.

Wait til Jack Zucker's Sheets Of Sound 2 comes out, has me doing all the audio excerpts fast and slow...

Hey Mac Guys,
To cover your multimedia, I would pick up a couple things:
MPlayerOSX
VideoLan (VLC)
Flip4Mac .wmv plugin for Quicktime (EXCELLENT, you can throw that crappy WMP9 for mac out the window)
3ivx divx plugin for Quicktime
And FWIW, it is a codec issue :)
you may not get HDCD decoding.
