Some from TGP were following the building of a head cabinet that would hold my super sonic and the reverb tank, since Fender didn't see fit to sell them that way. Well, it's finished. For those who are interested, you can see it here.... (http://www.adlibmusic.net/supersonic/head_cab.htm)

Sweet! As an amateur woodworker I have a deep appreciation for all homebuilt projects. Your Tolex covering, grill work, et all look terrific! Excellent job!
What adhesive did you use for the Tolex?

Thanks guys. I'm pretty much an amateur as well. This is only my 4th cab.
The glue I used is DAP Weldwood (the original stinky kind). I just bought some of their non-flammable stuff (green can (http://adlibmusic.net/temp/IMG_2958.JPG)), but I haven't tried it yet...
You can see my first few cabs HERE (http://www.adlibmusic.net/amps_cabs.htm), if you're interested.

Did you apply the DAP to both the wood and the Tolex, or just the wood?

Thanks kr!!! I'm going to put that same cloth on the SS combo cab. (it came with "pepper") I think it will look much more Fendery with silver/black. :-)
Did you apply the DAP to both the wood and the Tolex, or just the wood? Both parts and let it sit for about 15-20 min; then stick together.
any chance you want to make another one of those for profit? I bought the combo with the plan of having a head box made....might need one in a month or so. email me timheerebout@gmail.com if you'd be interested.
Very cool - nice job. It's strange to see the upside-down chassis in a headbox!
Very cool. Great Job!

I doubt I could make a profit on one; too much time involved, but I'll mail you.
:D
Adam and Mark; thanks guys!! It came out much better than I thought.
