Thanks BaM folks.

As I'm not a PRS guy, I probably won't post here often, but I registered to say how cool it was of you to set up a refugee site for us TGP'ers.

Shout out to Scott/Alec et al: as you already know I'm somewhat familiar with vBulletin and a long time systems engineer with plenty of webserver knowledge, etc. If you'd like a hand please email me at the address I used to email you a few weeks back and I'll try to help out.

If you have the nightly db backup I'd think getting the board s/w reinstalled and the db restored should be fairly straightfoward, no? Also, if you didn't pull a db backup thru the built-in routines, does your service provider do any sort of file-system backup of your hosted server (I ask because the provider I use for the88page.net says they do, altho I've not tested it). I'm not sure how useful a backup of an open MySQL db would be tho; maybe someone else has experience with that (e.g. that wouldn't be a useful way to backup a sql2000 db). Anyway, if I can be of some help, I have some time this weekend so give me a shout.

Pete, I for one should like to apologise (note spelling) in advance for Mr. Desy. Everyone has their cross to bear, Dan's ours. ;) :D

Seriously folks, welcome to the party. Good place, good people. No need to have a PRS to participate.

This is sort of like methadone for a heroin addiction.

I've already got one jones, hopefully I won't get two.

And you mean BAM guys quit picking on us in our desperate hour. No joking about Dumbles or Robben Ford. Next thing you know you'll be goofing on boutique gear.

PS Thanks for the welcome.

hey, thanx for creating a temporary haven, but have U thought seriously about any tendencies for self-destruction that U peeps might have?

Just saying hi--boy I missed you guys!

For the record, I almost bought a very nice PRS Hollowbody once, in rare platinum color. I still think about that one and just may pull the trigger one of these days...

Yeah Vaughn, isn't is weird having been heavy hitters on the old prs forum and now on the gp and having less than 25 posts here. New Member??

Any more gigs with the C60?

jonYup, who ever woulda thunk it....after all the money I spent on packing tape way back when, I never would have thought I'd end up liking a little modeling amp ;). Three gigs later and I'm still having fun with my C60 (mainly with my pedalboard into the clean channel) but I'm still fine tuning as I go. I recently purchased an RT-20 to replace my Rotosphere so I could shrink/lighten my pedalboard with a SKB PS-45....so we'll see how it goes. If nothing else, the rig is much easier on my lower back ;).

However, if this rig continues to please, I'm considering purchasing another C60 for backup (computerized amps make me nervous). And, if I'm going to drag another one along, I might as well wire them in stereo just for the fun of it.

Glad to hear it, Vaughn. I evidently destroyed my Crunchbox so I'm using an MI Blue Boy into the clean side and it kills.

A second one of these makes a lot of sense. Coupla pedals worth of investment..... sheesh........ :)

I was really getting the shakes. Bad.

The worst part -- I was actually playing guitar, rather than just thinking of what to buy next.

As for PRS -- I used to really want one. Then, when I got the point where I could afford one -- I didn't want one anymore. Life's funny that way.

jAccording to Brian, it's down & down hard. I know they're waiting for Alec to get back from Hawaii -- dunno if he is yet. But it sounds like a pretty nasty crash.
