Home made mushroom soup and bread with cheese. mmm!!

Just been playing my 'ONE OFF' SAS that was, I think, the first NAMM show exhibit of SAS's in 1997.
It's a sort of plum/Aubergine metallic colour that changes in the light. Flamed neck and birds, and interestingly, slightly smaller p/up covers than the stock items. No pic as yet however. It is one of a king tho...talked a couple of time with PRS about it. Paint was very expensive, so didn't get into production.

Anyway, It must have increased in value since I bought it about 6 years ago.

So, my question is, Have any of your present guitars gone up in price since you bought them??
eg...pal of mine bought his 68 Strat new for a couple of hundred pounds new. Now it's worth a couple of thousand???

Many of the PRS's in UK have dropped in price dramatically lately.

My S type Lentz has, seemingly, shot up in price already tho. Mind you, so it should, it's wonderful IMO.

My Cunetto Relic Nocaster has gone up about 30-40% since I bought it. My 10th Anniversary is also worth a bit more than I paid. My Artist I, II, III and Limited? Probably up a bit, or at worse, a couple of bucks less than I paid.

My Bonni Pink Sig? Who knows? But it'll be interesting to find out one day...

The rest of my PRSi are newer, so they're probably in the 'depreciating asset' mode right now...

I also have a Tele 'Plus', w/3 lace sensor pups that's selling for about 40-50% more than I bought it for...

Roast lamb + veg.

Not sure if any of my lot have increased in value. Only one that is potentially worth a bit is the Diamond Relic Strat. Only 200 made.

The one guitar I did have that 's probably worth £10-15k or more now, is my 62/63 Strat I stupidly sold in 1980.

The retail was £900 but they couldnt shift them at that price and my guitar was a reps guitar. This means it was new but had done the rounds in the sales reps car to show music shops.
Whats it worth now? certainly a lot more than the same vintage lester.
Its academic really coz i'd never sell it and gig it all the time.

I also had a 87 cu24 which i purchased for £900 about four years ago. Thats gone through the roof since i got it.
I did a deal with Quinny who i believe has moved it on again since.

I think the Prs market has gone a bit flat recently and i dont think there's the deals to be had anymore. Im sure the market is at saturation point, thats why i havent bothered putting my 20th anni up for sale.

I could make a few hundred on the Thorn and Studio mapletop I'm sure, but not why I bought them.

I told the GF that's why....but I didn't mean it. :D
